Ally & Gavin had a BEAUTIFUL wedding day at the Naval Academy and then a reception at the Historic Inns of Annapolis.
We started off the day doing some getting ready photos at the Inn and then traveled over to the Naval Academy for some bride and bridesmaid photos at Mahan Hall. Mahan Hall is a new place on the Academy grounds for me. The outside is beautiful, looks like a castle kinda and the inside is super pretty as well including an amazing window upstairs. Definitely worth it if you are thinking of locations on base to do photos :) Once we finished up those pictures we headed over to the chapel to prep for the ceremony.
After the ceremony we were supposed to go to the Superintendents Garden for photos but there was a party in the garden so we had to change plans and go to Dahlgren hall. Dahlgren is great for family & bridal party photos because it can either be inside or outside covered so you are in the shade or covered from the elements if the weather is unfortunate and you just can't beat those lights on the inside of the building!
Once we were all done with the photos on base we traveled back to the Historic Inns for the reception. The maid of honor wrote and sang the most beautiful song about the couple that made everyone cry, choked me up a bit too, and they had the best exit with paper airplanes.
Enjoy the photos - this one was a TON of fun!
