On October 14, 2017 Sue and Adam tied the knot! This was a very special wedding for me. This was my boyfriend's brother's wedding so it was all family for me, which is almost more intimidating than anyone else I book. I wanted everything to be super special and perfect for them. I was asked to photograph the getting ready, family, couple and ceremony and then the reception & cocktail hour was solely covered by my awesome second shooter, Maral. This was mostly so I could actually enjoy time with family and stop working. I gotta say tho, it was crazy hard to put the camera down and be "off". The reception is typically my favorite part to photograph but my second shooter totally rocked the photos!
I met the girls at a hotel nearby where we knocked out the getting ready shots. After that we headed over to the venue, Adam's grandfather's farm. It was so much more meaningful because it was on family property vs a random venue as Adam grew up going to the farm... was just awesome and I definitely got some of my favorite ceremony and couple shots from the year here.
One of my favorite moments from the day was when my step-son, Daniel, decided to throw the ring bearer pillow at the end of the aisle. I have no idea what was going on in his little head to think that tossing the pillow was what you are supposed to do, but I caught it on camera and I am kinda insanely jazzed about it.
Anyways, enjoy the photos... their wedding was such a blast!
